GILLARD TDX MY 25
The 2025 evolution of the TDX model keeps the distinctive features that have characterized this chassis since the past, such as the frame made of Ø 32 mm chrome molybdenum steel tubes and the availability of three distinct versions: shifter, direct drive and DD2. However, there are new important features. Above all, the M11 fairing kit and the unprecedented braking systems, conceived and designed by the OTK Kart Group’s R&D department.
PERFECT MATCH
TDX, in the 2025 version, keeps all the features introduced with Gillard Kart’s flagship model, the TG17 (now in its latest version named “MY 2025”), from which it only differs in the diameter of the tubes employed to manufacture the frame, which, in the case of the TDX, is Ø 32 mm. As for the other innovations introduced, however, the two models have the same features: both mount the new M11 fairings and the new BWD (specific for the single-gear classes) and BWZ (for the shifter categories) braking systems, as well as other technical details such as the new chain tensioner, made up of machined aluminum and attached to the bearing support. The novelties also involve the aesthetic aspect, renewed thanks to the design of the new stickers applied to the fairings.
UNIQUE DESIGN
Aerodynamics plays an increasingly important role in karting and, for this reason, OTK Kart Group’s R&D department has paid special attention to the development of this aspect, constantly working to find innovative solutions through testing by means of CFD computer simulations, in the wind tunnel and finally, on the track. The new M11 fairing kit, which complies with current FIA regulations, comes exactly from this development process and includes a front spoiler and a front fairing, both with a new design, combined with the side bumpers and rear protection of the M10 kit, introduced with the previous homologation. The whole aerodynamic kit is then completed by a new set of stickers, with an absolutely innovative and eye-catching design.
TOP OVERTAKINGS FOR THE DIRECT-DRIVE CLASSES
The innovative BWD braking system, specifically designed for the direct drive classes, represents one of the main novelties with the new Gillard Kart's 2025 product range. The main features of this model are in the cylinder and brake caliper, both of which are made using the highest quality materials, carefully selected by the OTK Kart Group’s R&D department, with the aim of improving the heat dissipation capacity of these elements, significantly reducing the brake oil temperature so to ensure a constant feeling for the driver during braking. The BWD system is available in two purchase options: with either the 180 mm or 206 mm diameter brake disc, depending on the needs.
